GALLOPS
The gallops are situated adjacent to the yard which allows the horses to gain access to the gallops without walking along roads. The Faringdon Road Gallop is regarded as one of the best grass gallops in Lambourn, if not the country. The extensive private gallops comprise of:
AMERICAN BARNS
The training complex at Faringdon Place centres around three large American Barns which house 150 horses between them. The barns are fully insulated to ensure the horses are protected from sudden changes in climate. Special emphasis has been placed on a system of natural ventilation. Charlie believes that natural lighting is an important component of the physiological development of his young horses, therefore there are louvre windows and clear roof lighting. There is also an isolation yard on the complex.
INDOOR SCHOOL
The indoor school has a polytrack surface. It is used to lunge and break yearlings, to introduce horses to the starting stalls, allow horses coming back from injury to resume gentle exercise and to exercise the horses in inclement weather.
HORSE WALKER
There are three mechanical horse walkers within the complex.
TURN OUT PADDOCKS
There are numerous turn out paddocks, ranging from small pens for a single horse to large paddocks for multiple horses to enjoy some down time.
