Drop back in trip sees Iberian back in business
It’s safe to say it’s been a tricky season with Iberian, and at the start of it we would never have expected his win to come over 6f at Southwell in December. He had a small procedure done on his wind which really seems to have helped, and as he has always shown us plenty of speed at home we thought a drop back to sprinting could also help. Although he was a bit rusty in the race, and only just won, he showed a great turn of foot to do so. He’ll be aimed at the Kachy Stakes at Lingfield in February, and depending on how he gets on there we will possibly look at Middle East options in Saudi and Dubai.
