Emotional victory for the legend that is Equilateral

Equilateral has been with us for 6 years and we are very, very fond of him. He’s been an amazing servant to us, and is probably unlucky to have been around with Battaash in his prime as without him he could have been a Group 1 winner in the Kings Stand. There probably aren’t many Group sprint races he hasn’t contested over the years!

After his run at Goodwood on ground he hates, the handicapper gave us a chance and he duly took it under another excellent Jamie Spencer ride. He’ll probably go up again so it’ll be back to pattern races, but we are over the moon with his well deserved win.
