Iberian shows his class in the Champagne

It’s not often you see horses do things on the gallops like Iberian does - but at the end of the day they have to replicate it on the track and it was great to see Iberian do that at Doncaster. The first time Billy Nicholson (who has been riding good horses longer than most of us have been alive) said ‘I’ve never ridden a horse like that in a bit of work’ you definitely listen. Goodwood was his first day at big school, where he encountered ground he never had before and he came off for the bridle for the first time. He didn’t win, but he nearly did and the experience did him the world of good.

The Dewhurst is the natural step and all being well you will see him there.
