Maghlaak toughs it out at Goodwood

Maghlaak had to really dig in to win at Goodwood, while giving plenty of weight to his rivals. He’s the last foal of our 1,000 Guineas winner Ghanaati so is a special horse to Sheikha Hissa and her family. It was nice to see him go well on the soft ground, as he is such a good mover it was a concern. We will take it quietly with him this year as his is very much a horse for next year, who despite his pedigree will stay.
