Quick fire double at Ripon

Kieran Shoemark excelled once again on both Ariel and Royal Musketeer at Ripon. From a wide draw he was able to get over and lead on Ariel and never saw another horse. This big framed son of Exceed and Excel (who until last night had had no winners from fifty seven runners in the last five years at Ripon!) galloped them into the ground and won going away. He’s still learning but is a horse to look forward to.

Kieran had to revert to Plan B on Royal Musketeer as we originally wanted to make the running. He was very cool and bided his time to come from the back and win going away. We will stick with 6 furlongs with this horse, who is still lightly raced.
