The last thing that looked likely as he got left by at least six lengths at the start was that he would win! But win he did and quite cosily in the end. A huge thank you must go to Kieran Shoemark, who didn’t panic and let him get back into the race in his own time. It was quite extraordinary watching him make his way through the field. This win should also cheer up his regular rider and biggest fan Viktoria who broke her ankle at the weekend.
