Sonny Liston very impressive at Sandown

Watching Sonny Liston sprint away from some highly regarded opposition at Sandown on Friday was a very pleasant surprise. While he as always looked like a nice horse, he has never done anything out of the ordinary on the gallops. He’s definitely mentally not quite there yet and was very babyish in the prelims at the races, but he really got his act together in the race. Chelsea Thoroughbreds look like they have a very nice prospect on their hands, and we are delighted for them as they have been very loyal to the yard.
