Supreme Sovereign wins on debut

Supreme Sovereign was very backward both physically and mentally earlier in the year and hadn’t been showing that much on the gallops. He is a very laid back character and that’s maybe why, because as soon as he started doing faster work in late summer/early autumn he suddenly began to show us plenty. There was a lot to like about the way he came through horses, and really stuck his head down to beat a horse rated 88. That will probably be it for this year, but he learnt plenty at Southwell and is very much one to look forward to.
