The Ice Phoenix gets back on track at Southwell

After a couple of disappointing runs, The Ice Pheonix looked like he was on the way back at Goodwood, and duly backed that up with his win at Southwell. We felt he was getting a little bit too laid back at home, so put the blinkers on and they appear to have helped. He’s a lovely big horse who should be open to progress during the autumn.
