Bird of War breaks maiden at Newcastle

Bird of War had been unlucky on his previous start at Leicester, and the galloping nature of the track at Newcastle really suited him. He’s a horse with plenty of scope for improvement, and despite being by a sprinter has plenty of stamina. There’s no doubt he will progress again next season.
