Double Rush impressive on return
We have liked Double Rush from the moment he arrived at the yard. After a promising first run on soft ground, he then ran well in a good race at Haydock. We learnt from his final run not to go near soft ground with him again as he got completely stuck in it.
Physically he has done really well over the winter, maturing into a lovely big horse. He’s been working really well at home with good horses so we were confident of a decent run. He did everything Jason Watson asked of him, and one of Jason’s comments after the race was he didn’t realise how fast he was going. This was born out in the time of the race which was not far off the Wolverhampton track record. He’s a horse we’re really looking forward to this year.
