Galeron gets the €1million!
Saturday was one of those dream days where everything comes together. When Gary Robinson bought Galeron (named after himself, his wife Leanne and daughter Ronnie), the aim was always this race. It was an achievement to get to the race, let alone win it! Galeron is a lovely horse who beat Flying Childers winner Trillium on his second start. He has a potent combination of speed and stamina, although we weren’t convinced by the stamina until yesterday when he stayed on really strongly. We also weren’t sure about the ground as he is such a good mover. Lots of exciting opportunities are open to him, and as his horse racing doesn’t take a lot out of him, you will almost certainly be seeing him again this season.
