New recruit Papa Don’t Preach wins at Wolverhampton

Papa Don’t Preach is a lovely little horse, who had some good form to his name while trained in France. Luckily for us he hadn’t managed to get his head in front so we were able to run him in a maiden here. He has worn blinkers and cheek pieces in the past, and we can now see why as he was very lazy and only doing enough in the race. He pulled up and was hardly blowing! He’s had a busy time of it so we will see how he is and decide if we ease up on him a bit, or keep kicking on.
