One, two at Newmarket for Double Rush and Bob Mali
We had a fantastic result in the 6f handicap at Newmarket with a one two for two very promising three year old sprinters. Time will probably tell that Double Rush was very well handicapped, and he used this to his advantage to win well. He’s a lovely, big, powerful horse with a great temperament. We won’t throw him in at the deep end straight away, but we hope he can become a group horse.
Bob Mali ran an absolute blinder on his seasonal debut. He was very wound up when he arrived with us in the autumn and the team have done a great job relaxing him at home. He was giving Double Rush weight and stuck on really gamely to the line. He wouldn’t want fast ground, but when it rains he will be very competitive.
