Pogo does it again

While everyone was writing him off due to the penalty he had to carry, we were quietly confident that Pogo would confirm the John O’Gaunt form. He wasn’t full wound up for that race, he loves Newmarket, loves fast ground and seven furlongs is definitely his optimum trip so everything was in his favour. It helps that he is the most willing partner and has struck up a brilliant relationship with Kieran Shoemark who rides him so well. We have to look at the Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood now, and in all likelihood that is where he’ll end up as long as the ground isn’t soft. There’s also the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury to look at. To say he is a big favourite in the yard is an understatement - we absolutely love him!
