Debut win for Lady Alara

We were delighted to see Lady Alara win on her debut at Newbury. She has always gone nicely at home, but if we’re totally honest we were expecting a good run but probably not a win. However she proved us all wrong by racing like the ultimate professional and winning cosily. The McLaren family who race under the name of Alara Investments were joint breeders of the filly, so it was really exciting that she proved us with our first winner for them. She also won a Tattersalls Book 1 Bonus which is a great incentive. Kieran was impressed with how much speed she showed even though she is bred to get further. She’s one we are pretty excited about.
