Shiplake wins at Newcastle

Shiplake did a lot wrong in the race, but still managed to win in tenacious style. He does need to learn to settle, which is why we dropped him back to 6 furlongs. She definitely needs further and it’s his talent that’s getting him through at the moment. He is named after Shiplake College which owner Kia Joorabchian attended, and where James and Eddie Hills are currently at school, so they were delighted he hasn’t let the school down!
