Wanees back on track following gelding operation

After he basically ran off with Jim Crowley at Goodwood it was decided to geld Wanees to make him more tractable in his races. The Goodwood experience also made it abundantly clear that he is better off over a mile at the moment as they go quicker, helping him settle. Dane gave him a lovely ride at Haydock, and the horse was also very honest to repel all challengers and win cosily in the end. Like most Le Harve’s he loves a bit of cut in the ground and there will be lots of nice options for him before the end of the season.
