Oursin is impressive at Kempton

He’s a horse we’ve always held in high regard, and we were bitterly disappointed when he sustained a fracture in the spring having gone very well in a racecourse gallop.

He was given plenty of time and brought back into work slowly. His work has been impressive at home recently so we were expecting a big run. Rob Hornby reported he did it all on natural ability, as he was still very green in the race. It will bring him on a lot physically and mentally, and he’s a lovely stayer in the making.
